Save $700 on an Acer gaming laptop on Amazon and take powerful gaming on the go
Some people have a hard time staying in one place. For PC gamers, this has long been a challenge. Since desktop setups were the gold standard for so long, the more powerful rigs have often required that PC gamers stay in one spot — or else lug a heavy tower, monitor, and more with them.
The good news? The latest crop of gaming laptops make it possible to play wherever you are, as they easily rival desktops in both power and performance. If you’re shopping for a gamer this holiday season, it’s an important point to consider. Are they the kind to stay in one place and build out their setup? Or do they like to easily pick up and go?
Thankfully, holiday sales mean you won’t have to break the bank if you’re shopping for a more mobile-minded gamer. (Even if that person is actually you.) Whatever the case, Amazon has just the laptop on sale.
The Acer Predator Triton 700 is $1,999 on Amazon right now, which is $700.99 off the original price of $2,699.99 — that’s some pretty epic savings. It all comes down to the specs.
A peek under the hood of the Triton 700 will show you just how powerful this laptop is. It starts with the Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor and 32GB of RAM for extremely fast speeds, while the 512GB SSD gives it that extra boost along with a nice chunk of storage space.
But the GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card is the icing on the cake. This can help make some of 2018’s most visually demanding games more enjoyable. Titles like Just Cause 4 and Hitman 2 simply aren’t the same on a GTX 1060. And don’t worry, the GTX 1080 should be more than ready to handle some of the heavy hitters coming up in 2019, including Metro: Exodus and Anthem.
Staying in one place is overrated anyway.
