The Amazon Fire Stick was in need of an upgrade and it got one just in time for Black Friday.

Not that it was a bad device — quite the opposite, in fact. A streaming device you could take anywhere that just needed to plug into an HDMI port and connect to Wi-Fi is great. But if you can watch something in 4K, why would you chose not to?

Well, that upgrade is here, and better yet, it’s on sale.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K is $34.99, $15 off the original price of $49.99.

According to Amazon, the device is 80% more powerful than its first iteration, can support Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and has a new quad core, 1.7GHz processor. All that for less than $35? We’re sold.
