Save $60 on an unlocked Moto X4 Prime Edition smartphone, on sale at Amazon
Need a new phone, but you’re on a budget? While most smartphones these days can cost you upwards of $1,000 (we’re looking at you iPhone XS and Google Pixel 3 XL), there are a number of high quality devices out there, but at a very low price point. On great option is the 4th generation Moto X, which is on sale for just $199.99 on Amazon.
This is the Prime Edition version of the Moto X4, which is normally priced at $259.99. The smartphone comes with a suite of Amazon apps for productivity and entertainment, such as Prime Video, Prime Music, Alexa voice assistant, Kindle, and Amazon Photo storage with a dual rear shooter on the back and a 16MP selfie cam upfront.
All of this wonderful content is displayed on the Moto X’s brilliant 5.2-inch HD touchscreen with 3GB of memory and 32GB of storage, which is fully expandable up to a whopping 2TB with a microSD card. The smartphone is even IP68 water resistant, so you don’t have to worry about accidental spills or dropping it in a puddle. If this device gets wet, it will still work without skipping a beat.
In addition, one of the best things about this version of the Moto X4 — which runs Android 8.1 Oreo — is that it is unlocked, which means you’re not locked down to any phone company or a long two-year contract. You can simply take the phone to popular U.S. carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon to get up and running.
Amazon customer Kurt G. writes:
“After breaking my Samsung phone, thought I’d try this as my main phone. I had used an earlier unlocked Moto phone in Europe while traveling and was impressed by it’s performance — so I thought I’d give the X4 a try instead of the Samsung 9. The phone works great, was (mostly) easy to transfer everything from my old Samsung phone. They only negative so far is lack of a 64GB option, but I think 32 will work.”
