Save $40 on the Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Tablet, or save $100 on two
Keeping your kids calm and distracted, especially on road trips, is not easy. Smart devices have been able to help with that, but do you really want to trust your 5-year-old with a $300 tablet or phone? Didn’t think so.
Thankfully, you can relax thanks to Amazon’s special on one of its best selling tablets.
The Fire HD 10 Kids Tablet from Amazon is available right now for $159.99, which is $40 off the listed price of $199.99. Say you need two to prevent any arguments in the car: you can get two for $299.99, which would normally cost $399.99.
As the name implies, the Fire HD 10 Kids Tablet is designed and optimized especially for kids. You get a free year subscription to FreeTime Unlimited, which offers access to thousands of educational apps, books, shows, and games from Disney, PBS, Nickelodeon, and more. After the first year, you will have to pay for continued access to FreeTime Unlimited, but it only costs $2.99 a month or $36 a year. Compared to other content services, that price is a steal for everything you get access to. And just in case you’re worried about the kids seeing anything inappropriate, there are streamlined parental controls that will keep the kids from getting to any unsavory content.
All that is great, but given how rough kids can be on their stuff, it’s a moot point without some kind of protection. Thankfully, you’ll get that from t he kid-proof case that protects against drops and other physical damage. But you can’t account for everything, so if something were to happen to the Fire HD 10, it comes with a 2-year warranty that will replace the tablet for free.
