Save over $3,000 on one of the best 4K TVs by Sony thanks to this Amazon sale
For all the pies Sony has its (metaphorical) fingers in, the quality never seems to dip. Whether you’re looking for a new camera or picking up a PS4 Pro, everything lives up to the Sony name. This is especially true when it comes to their 4K TVs, as reflected by the tech specs — and price.
If you’re looking for a big TV to turn a basement into your personal movie theater, Sony and Amazon have just the thing with this enormous, 75-inch model that’s on sale.
Amazon is offering the Sony 75-inch X940E Smart 4K TV for $2895. Normally, the TV is listed at $5998, saving you over $3000 on this TV that’s basically fit for royalty.
Sony’s 900 line offers some of the best LED TVs on the market, only outdone by OLED and QLED TVs. And while the X940E might be last year’s model, that doesn’t mean it’s outdated — not by a long shot.
Behind the screen, it uses Sony’s Triluminous color display for brighter and better contrasting colors on screen. Then, the X1 Processor ramps up the HDR quality, delivering blacks and whites that will definitely offer lighting that’s more even, brighter, and natural. Motionflow XR 960 will keep the TVs refresh rate so fast action is silky smooth. And with Android TV, you’ll have access to all the smart features and apps you could think of, along with compatibility with Amazon Echo and Google Home devices.
One other feature of note is the backlit screen design. Most flatscreen TVs are edgelit, so the light will cascade to the center and can potentially fade. Since the X940E is backlit, the TV will be much brighter out of the box without any adjustment and offer a more evenly filled picture compared to edgelit TVs.
And at 75 inches, the screen isn’t skimping on size, making it a great option for people who love to watch films on a screen that’s as big as possible (without leaving the house.) If this sounds like the TV to bring together your home theater, swing through Amazon and order it while you can.
