Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 is a tablet that doubles as a portable screen
Ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which kicks off on Monday, Lenovo has launched a bunch of new Android tablets, as well as a versatile smart clock.
The most interesting among these new devices are the Yoga Tab 13 and Yoga Tab 11 — Android tablets with built-in, stainless steel kickstands that can double as portable screens to carry around the house.
The Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 has a 13-inch, 2K, touchscreen display with HDR, quad JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos coupled with an “audio chamber” in the bottom for stronger bass, an octa-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, 8GB of memory, and a 10,000mAh battery. The kickstand on the back props it up to make it a portable screen, and can even be adjusted for hanging, meaning you should be able to place the tablet almost anywhere.
This should make the Yoga Tab 13 a pretty capable home entertainment device, regardless of whether you’ll use it to play a game, watch a movie, or browse through recipes while you cook.
Other features of note include the 8-megapixel front camera, Alcantara-covered back, and an optional Lenovo Precision Pen.
The Yoga Tab 11 is a kid-friendly, smaller variant of the same thing with slightly weaker specs — it has an 11-inch display, a 7,500mAh battery, and a MediaTek Helio G90T processor. It has an advantage over its larger sibling, though — it’s a lot lighter (655g vs 830g).

Other new devices Lenovo has launched at MWC include the €299 ($357) Lenovo Tab P11 Plus tablet which has an 11-inch display and can be had with an optional, full-sized keyboard, as well as the €119 ($142) Lenovo Tab M7, and (unpriced) M8 family tablets.
There’s also the €89.99 ($107) Lenovo Smart Clock 2, which doubles as a smart speaker with a 4-inch touchscreen (with no camera), and can be configured with an optional, wireless phone charger.
The Lenovo Tab P11 Plus will be available in July 2021, the Lenovo Smart Clock 2 will be available in August 2021, and the Lenovo Tab M7 will be available in June 2021, while the Lenovo Tab M8 will be available in select markets (North America not included) later this year.
