Twitter is testing a feature that will let you see quote retweets
Twitter has begun testing a new feature allowing users to see all of a tweet’s retweets that include a comment. It’s a bold new era for browsing “bomboclaat” memes.
The update was confirmed by Twitter product lead Kayvon Beykpour in a tweet on Wednesday, after it was spotted by thrilled BTS fan @jinepiphany.
“We rolled this out as a test starting today,” wrote Beykpour. “Let’s [sic] you easily see all the Retweets with comments of any tweet. Let us know what you think if you have access to the experience.”

Though most Twitter users don’t yet have this new feature, people are enthusiastic about the concept.
Up until now, users who wanted to see what others were saying in a posts’ retweets typically tagged @QuotedReplies. The automated account would then deliver convenient links to pre-filled Twitter search results. It’s a useful service, but will be obsolete once Twitter’s new feature is officially rolled out.
It isn’t clear how long Twitter’s test will be, or how widespread. However, Beykpour assured one keen Twitter user that they’d have the new feature “soon.”
