Still can’t find toilet paper? These bidets are on sale.
PSA (because apparently people don’t know this): You do not need to call 911 if you run out of toilet paper amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Sure, the toilet paper aisle at your local Target may look pretty barren right now, but rest assured there’s an end in sight for the toilet paper shortages facing retailers nationwide: Manufacturers like Proctor & Gamble (which makes the Charmin brand of TP) are ramping up production to record levels, and stores like Walmart and Amazon are adjusting their supply routes accordingly.

We’ll concede that it’s only natural to panic-buy household staples like toilet paper as threats of lockdowns loom: It’s bad enough being stuck inside for weeks on end, but you really don’t want to be stuck inside for weeks on end with a poopy booty.
If you’re truly stressed about it, you can always forgo the toilet paper thing entirely and just get a bidet instead. Granted, these butt-washing toilets have also enjoyed a surge in popularity thanks to COVID-19-related TP stockpiling: The bidet brands Omigo, Brondell, and Tushy have all reported tenfold spikes in sales in recent weeks. (And the Google Trends data for the term “bidet” speaks for itself.)
Many retailers are swiftly selling out of their bidet inventory due to this newfound demand, but after some thorough internet digging, we managed to find several models in stock (and on sale) online. Here’s what’s up for grabs as of March 26:
