Apple AirPods (2nd generation) are on sale for their lowest price ever

TL;DR: Apple’s second-generation AirPods come with a wireless charging case, and you can score them on sale on Amazon for just $164.99. (They’re normally $199, so you’ll save about 17%.)

In case you haven’t heard, the all-new AirPods Pro are available as of, well, today — and if their bulbous design and active noise cancellation don’t grab your attention, their $249.99 price tag certainly will. 

(Pro tip: AppleCare is a must.)

If you don’t feel like splurging on those puppies ahead of the holiday shopping season, that’s cool: Amazon has marked their release by slashing the price of the AirPods 2, an “older” version of Apple’s wireless Bluetooth earbuds that come with a wireless charging case. (“Older” belongs in quotes because Apple released them earlier this year.) They still cost $199 at the Apple Store, but you can order them from Amazon for just under $165 — their lowest price ever.

Dubbed “the gold standard for wireless earbuds” by former Mashable tech reporter Raymond Wong, the second-generation AirPods have nabbed both a Mashable’s Choice Award *and* a coveted spot on our list of the Best Tech of 2019 (So Far). While they weren’t a drastic upgrade from the OG AirPods, their sleek design, hands-free Siri functionality, easy connectivity, and long battery life — up to five hours on a single charge — won us over.
